Since early 2012, we were putting together a software suite to manage a new pharmacy that we were opening in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. Our goal was to develop an Open Source platform to not only manage this one pharmacy, but enable us in the future to offer Pharmacy Management as a service to other pharmacies. We determined that using SmartERP and SmartPOS would fit most of our business needs. However, we needed to develop new customizations to both products in order to meet the specific demands of pharmacy workflows. For example, insurance processing, co-payment and unit of measure materials management to name just a few enhancement.
In a very short period of time, SmartJSP turned around all of the new development that we needed to open the pharmacy, including end user training documentation. Since the initial engagement with SmartJSP, we have come to rely on them for continued enhancements to the platform in order to respond to ever increasing demands from the pharmacy business segment. All of our engagements have come in on-budget, on-time and on-spec.
In addition to custom development work, Rapid eCorp has used SmartJSP support services to provide around the clock support for our SmartERP and SmartPOS system. They are always quick to respond, courteous in their communication and impressive in their ability to resolve the most complex technical problems.
